Munchkins is a JUVENLILE SPECIALY STORE, selling some of the finest products and gifts in our industry.

We SAFELY RECYCLE juvenile products, including baby, kids and maternity clothing, juvenile gear and accessories, which are deemed to need recycling.  Munchkins’ provides consignment and store credit for the GOOD of the Earth and our Community. These services require hard work and dedication by the owners and staff. After years in business, we know what works and what does NOT. 

Munchkins is NOT a thrift store or non-profit.  Munchkins is by definition an independently owned and operated JUVENLE SPECIALTY SHOP, which just so happens to safely recycle products ONLY related to babies, kids and pregnant and/ or nursing mothers.

Please read our policies - prior to bringing items in for store credit/ consignment services.

What You Should Do:

Bring ONLY CLEAN items with all the parts and accessories included, and in good working order.   Bring in seasonal clothing either folded or laying flat.

Prior to bringing items, ALWAYS remove stained, dirty or worn-out items from your bags, bins or boxes.  If you do not do your portion, you may be asked not to return for consignment or store credit

services.

PLEASE CALL First in the AM, the day PRIOR to bringing in items. Tuesday through Saturday @ 642-2733 xt. 9 and ask if we have space for the clothing, gear, accessories or furniture, which you are READY to bring in the above mentioned condition.

What Munchkins Does:  You can expect Consignment Services for all items worth $10 or more, including maternity clothing, clothes NEW WITH TAGS, all gear, accessories etc. You can expect the items to be checked for safety and price compared on the Internet, so we ALWAYS sell the item at the right price. ONLY after your item is sold, will you receive 40 Percent in the form of a check (checks written 2 times per month) or you may receive 50 Percent towards ANY new or safely recycled product you wish to purchase at Munchkins.

WE ATTEMPT :  To pre-sort and select only the used clothing we can give you credit for and hand you the remaining out of season or not acceptable items.  We try to calculate your store credit as quickly as possible. 

Used clothing credit is to be used for Clothing Credit Only. (excludes new shoes and all other items)

We will always try to call you when we have calculated your store credit and your consignments are priced and out for sale.  We have a priority to help serve the paying customers in the store FIRST.  If you cannot wait for service, you must be a returning client with drop-off privileges in order to leave your items.  Your items will be automatically donated to foster families in need if you do not return within 1 WEEK of a courtesy phone call, from Munchkins.

Drop off Day for Clothes to be calculated for Store Credit toward New & Used Clothes is TUESDAY thru SATURDAY.

Drop off Days for Consignments of all items other than clothes (cribs, swings, etc.) are TUESDAYS thru SATURDAYS...  Please call ahead for these items (Space is limited) and bring them in only after you have done a general cleaning of the item.

Please read and understand the following prior to leaving your goods for consignment and / or store credit.  If you need clarification please ask the owners.

All clothes we don’t want or need must be picked up within a few Days of a courtesy phone call or they will be automatically donated to charity by the following Friday of the following week.

Clothes brought in to Munchkins are good for store credit ONLY and for Clothes ONLY. 

This means clothing credit is only good for new or gently used clothes (excludes new shoes).  Please don’t bring in worn out, pilled, stained, missing buttons or any clothes with holes.  If you would not buy it, our other customers will not either.  We strive to have quality clothing, gear and furniture in good condition for a good value.

Toys are good for consignment only.  I specialize in new wood toys (montessori methods) so the toy must be cleared by the owners ahead of time. 

 (Please note:   CLOTHING CREDIT: You will receive approx.  30 % of the amount we will sell the item for in store credit immediately after we process the clothing.) For expample if I will sell the item for approx. $6.00 retail you will recieve $2.00 credit immediately toward new or used clothing (excluding new shoes).  Consignments are for toys, gear and furniture items only.  We do not consign individual clothing items. 

If you wish to receive money for your items, please request consignment services.

The consignment payout policy is as follows:

You have a choice of 40 % cash out when the item sells

   OR 

You have a choice of 50 % store credit toward ANY new or used item in the store (after the item sells only).

This means you may use your consignment money from the sale of your item toward any item new or used in the store.  (We supply a small incentive for you to use store credit vs. us paying you out cash for your consignment item.)

Please understand clothing, toys, recalled items and all other items, we cannot use are to be picked up within 24 hours of us calling you or we may donate them or destroy them (unsafe items). So please call to schedule a pick up time or come in.
